The first information forum within the Information campaign of Regional Information Centre - Varna "We Create Together - Europe for Youth" took place on 5th March at 2014 at the University of Economics - Varna.

The event was attended by more than 60 professors, PhD students and members of the administrative staff at the University of Economics - Varna. The overall objective of the initiative is to introduce the academic community to the opportunities and rules evolved in the new EU programmes 2014-2020.

During the information forum the most important topics were regarded, namely: possible measures to make modern the scientific and research infrastructure at the universities, the youth employability, entrepreneurship and so forth. The experts from the Regional Information Centre presented the main priorities laid down in the new Operational Programme "Science and Education for Intelligent Growth", the fundamental clauses set up in the new European Legislation and the Project Partnership Agreement with the European Commission for the Programme period 2014 - 2020.

The event drew up high level of interest amongst the members of the academic and administrative staff of the university. The participants expressed strong interest in future information meetings in order to upgrade and enrich their knowledge and competences in the area of educational programmes funded by the European funds.

University of Economics - Varna and Regional Information Centre - Varna will keep on cooperating and will be working on the organization of an information forum aimed at the students and the opportunities to implement youth projects and initiatives.
