The Spanish and Latin-American Film Festival born from the idea of sharing the Spanish culture in the city of Varna through the screening of different Spanish movies during the months of March. April and May with the collaboration of the University of Economics - Varna and the IV Bilingual School "F.Joliot-Curie". 

The 3rd Movie of the Festival will take place on the 12th May 2014 at 18.00h in the room "AULA" of the University of Economics - Varna with the screening of  Havana Blues, in Original Version with subtittles in English.

Havana blues is a 2005 Spanish and Cuban film directed by Benito Zambrano. The film tells the story of two young musicians in Cuba who get a chance to be famous at an international record company. Art versus commerce, nationalism versus globalism and communism versus capitalism are some of the topics of the film.  The movie was screened in the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.
