REPORT
For the second time during the summer semester of the academic 2014-2015 year a new academic exchange with the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Economics - Varna and the Ural Federal University (UrFU) was held. Within the guidelines of the Exchange 24 students from Russia took part in lectures and seminars of major "Informatics" and obtained theoretical and practical knowledge in this field. After successful completion of the courses and taking the exams the students obtained UE - Varna certificates.
The period of the academic exchange: from 4 May till 6 June 2015.
The participants from the part of the UrFU: 24 students (bachelors, masters and PhD students).
In close cooperation with the Informatics Department (UE - Varna) and Analysis of Systems and Making Decisions Department (UrFU) the students were taught the following majors:
1. Safety and Protection of Miscrosoft Network and Applications (assoc. prof., PhD Stephan Drajev, assistant Radka Nacheva).
2. Systems of Business Management (MS DYNAMICS NAV) (assoc. prof., PhD Julian Vasilev).
3. E-Business - 2nd Part (assoc. prof., PhD Silvia Parusheva, assistant Radka Nacheva)
4. Creating of Web Applications with .Net Platform (prof., PhD Vladimir Salov, assistant Bonimir Penchev).
5. Software Production Management (chief assistant, PhD Olga Marinova).
In addition to various educational programmes the students took part in different cultural events and meetings, there were excursions to cape Kaliakra, Kavarna, Balchik, Nesebar, Stone Forest, Madara, the Archeological Museum (Varna).
After successful taking exam session on 5th June 2015 an official ceremony of granting the certificates for the participants was held. The following persons were present at the event: assoc. prof., PhD Petya Ionkova Dankova, Vice-rector on International cooperation and Project Management, assoc. prof., PhD Todorka Atanasova, Dean of the Informatics Faculty, assoc. prof., PhD Silvia Parusheva, the Head of the Academic Exchange in UE - Varna, the academic staff of the Informatics Department and the personnel of International Relations Office.
In general, the group of 24 students acted with due diligence and there was no need to repeat the examination.
Besides the high results the students impressed the academic staff by their good upbringing, reasonableness and regular visiting the classes. It was very pleasant and easy for the teaching staff and the personnel as well to work with the group.
