Total Budget of the Project: 332 196,00 BGN

Duration: 18 months (from  11th October 2013 to  10th April 2015)

 

Objective:                                                                                     

  • Creation of conditions for sustainable development of the scientific potential of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics-Varna through the improvement of the existing pro-innovative scientific infrastructure for practical applied researches in the field of commercial goods' safety.

Specific objectives:

  • To empower and to develop the scientific capacity of researches in the field of commercial goods' safety through the equipment of a laboratory with modern devices necessary for the implementing applied researches.
  • To obtain and to develop new knowledge in the field of commercial goods' safety as concrete applied researches (projects) will be implemented with the assistance of the supplied specialized equipment.

Project Activities:

  • Supply of new equipment for applied researches;
  • Supply of materials and consumables for the needs of exploitation of the supplied equipment;
  • Implementation of applied researches with the supplied specialized equipment:  quantitative analysis of substances injurious to consumers' health, observation of the  changes in the conservation of the goods, including the changes related to the development of the unwanted micro flora and accumulation of mico toxins, sell-by-date of a wide range of food and commercial goods and materials, etc.
